Dizziness Clinic
Dizziness, vertigo and balance issues are common complaints that affect many individuals each year. A large percentage originate the from the organs of the inner ear and the brain that helps control balance and eye movements. This is known as the vestibular system. Changes to this complex system resulting in a vestibular disorder may be the result of an injury, illness or aging.
Every person’s experience will be different in terms of symptoms and their severity. The most common symptoms include:
- Vertigo (spinning or rotational sensation)
- Dizziness (lightheadedness, faintness or unsteadiness)
- Imbalance and spatial disorientation
- Nausea and vomiting
- Visual disturbance
- Cognitive and/or psychological changes

Our lead therapist has nearly 20 years of experience in vestibular rehabilitation and was among the first practitioners in Ontario to provide treatment for these conditions on a large scale.
Today, our team continues to advance its expertise through ongoing education and collaboration with physicians and healthcare specialists in both local and Greater Toronto Area hospitals. With advanced training in the vestibular system, we take a personalized, team-based approach to help identify the underlying cause of your symptoms and support your recovery as efficiently and effectively as possible.
A thorough assessment is an important first step.
Our Dizziness Clinic assessment begins with a detailed review of your symptoms, health history and daily challenges, combined with specialized technology that uses infrared video analysis to evaluate how your vestibular system is functioning.
During the assessment, we examine three key areas: how your eyes and head work together, your balance and walking ability and any musculoskeletal factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. By gaining a complete understanding of the root cause of your difficulties, we can develop a personalized, non-invasive treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
Many clients begin to notice improvements early in treatment, while others experience more gradual progress depending on the underlying condition.
